When I got my first Android phone back in 2012, I immediately looked for a simple app in which I could add products and cross them out, just exactly as I would do when using a physical notepad to keep track of my groceries. However, all the applications I found were quite complex and came bloated with extra features that were getting in the way of what I wanted to do (remember Evernote?). Eventually, I decided to learn Android in order to create my own app... And that's how this application was born.
Based on the principle KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid!), which I hadn't even heard of at the time (but understood instinctively), this app allowed users to create and manage shopping lists easily and with no hassle. Luckily, I wasn't the only one who wanted a simple, streamlined application like this one, so there were thousands of downloads in a matter of days – and things only grew from there!
Due to the success of the app, I eventually created a V2, which was an attempt to improve the V1 while keeping the simplicity that made it popular in the first place.
