This is an infinite runner where you play as a dog getting chased by its owner. The further you get without getting caught, and the more bones you collect along the way, the higher your score.
I made this game because I thought that developing something for the Pico8 would be interesting, and it definitely was. Unfortunately, the game changed directions quite a few times during its development, which resulted in some questionable decisions and some horrendous code – if you must, you can see the code here.
In any case, this was a super fun challenge that made me appreciate how incredible this fantasy console is and how talented the developers making games for it are. I can confidently say that I am a fan of the Pico8 from now on!
