Website to upload pictures that was up from 2006 until 2008, when I finally closed it because of the difficulties of trying to filter the thousands of new pictures that were uploaded every day.
As I did very thoughtful SEO on it, during more than one year the site would appear as the first result in Google for the search “subir fotos” (upload pictures, in English), which brought many visitors and a good revenue.
There were three versions of the website, all of them – I must admit – quite ugly (the standards for web design were different back then, and my abilities to design web templates weren’t specially strong at the time).
The first version of the web didn’t include user registration, but the next two allowed users to create accounts in order to manage their pictures and/or to show them publicly in the site.
